The end of 2023 going in to 2024 was a landmark year for Hawaiian Council and all of Hawai\u02bbi. The uncertainty brought about by the 2023 Maui Wildfires\u00a0 caused people around the world to reflect on the things that are important for the well-being of humanity and our planet. Here at Hawaiian Council, we knew that radical shifts needed to happen. Hawai\u02bbi, our homeland, could not continue on the path that it was on. We needed to make bold moves to strengthen our economic foundation in small and big ways.<\/span><\/p>\n
