empowering keiki
The Hawaiian Way Fund supports organizations such as the Ulu Aʻe Learning Center. Started by a kumu who felt the need to give back to her community in a meaningful way. Ulu A’e is one of the only Hawaiian culture-based intercession and after school programs in Kapolei. Grounded in values and customs of our kupuna, Ulu A’e sets a solid cultural foundation for keiki through activities such as hula, ukulele lessons, hei ha’awina, Hawaiian language and huaka’i.
