Inspired by Native Hawaiian storytelling and expression, this groundbreaking talent competition and television series is a search for artists, storytellers, comedians, fashion designers, and other talented individuals who can proudly represent Hawai‘i.

Each episode will be filmed on location across the islands and beyond. The shows will be broadcast on Hawai‘i News Now with episodes released weekly leading up to the live finale at the Ko Olina Resort, which will include public voting to determine the winner.

This isn’t just a talent show — it’s our story, told by us. Are you ready to answer the call?

5 Easy Steps to Enter

  1. Got talent? We want to see, hear and experience it all.
  2. Ready to be Hawaii’s next global ambassador? We’re looking for talented solo performers and dynamic groups up to 6 people.
  3. Show us your best in 5 minutes or less – film and upload your audition, include a short intro.
  4. If you’re a fashion designer, show us your style! Describe your aesthetic in your video and upload up to 5 photos or drawings.
  5.  Submit it all at here.  Fill out the form, upload your files, and you are on your way.

Finalists will advance to a televised live finale held at Ko Olina Resort on Sunday, December 14, 2025 — where public voting will help determine the overall winners. Winners will be invited to represent Hawai‘i on a global cultural ambassador tour, showcasing the richness of what our islands have to offer the world. They will also receive cash & prizes.

The winner of the Japan Calls edition will be invited to perform at the live finale at Ko Olina, but will participate only in performances within Japan and will not join the global ambassador tour.
